How to make Hand Made Jewellery

Empowering Creativity:

Handmade Jewellery Workshop

At Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf, we believe in nurturing every student’s creative potential and building practical skills for a self-reliant future. Our Handmade Jewellery Workshop provides students with a supportive space to explore craftsmanship, design aesthetics, and fine motor skills through visual learning and step-by-step guidance.

Under the dedicated mentorship of Instructor Rajinder Kaur, students receive hands-on vocational training tailored to their visual learning style. Through clear physical demonstrations, visual cues, and sign language interaction, Instructor Rajinder Kaur leads students through each stage of jewellery creation—turning raw materials into beautiful, handcrafted pieces.

What Our Students Learn?

Beadwork & Pattern Design: Selection of colors, sequences, and aesthetic balance.

Assembly Techniques: Precision threading, wire shaping, and fitting clasps for earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

Focus & Fine Motor Skills: Enhancing hand-eye coordination, patience, and attention to detail.

Vocational & Life Skills: Fostering artistic confidence, self-reliance, and potential path toward entrepreneurship.

Every piece of handmade jewellery created at our school represents creativity, determination, and pride. By expanding our vocational training programs, we aim to equip deaf children with real-world skills that build self-confidence and open doors to future economic independence.
